Catherine Kikuchi is a doctoral student at Paris-Sorbonne, supervised by Elisabeth Crouzet-Pavan. She is currently preparing a thesis on medieval history on the theme of printers and the book industry in Venice between 1469 and the early 16th century. Her research has led to an article entitled “Nicolas de Francfort, un Allemand à Venise: l’insertion d’un imprimeur dans la société vénitienne au tournant du XVe siècle”, Revue historique, no.672, 2014, pp. 757-781. Her previous research focused on German humanism and its links with Venice.
