Fabrice Virgili is research director at CNRS (UMR SIRICE). For several years his research work has focused on gender and world wars, and on sexual violence in particular. He is on the editorial board of the Clio journal. Women, Gender, History and vice president of the Mnémosyne Association for the Development of Women’s History and of Gender, he is responsible for the LabEx EHNE Gender & Europe research theme.
